Fraser Morgan unveils Nurtur Student Living as new management company

We’re delighted to announce the launch Nurtur Student Living – our dedicated management company for our future student living schemes.

Nurtur will be both a student-facing management company and a brand targeted at student accommodation investors in the UK and overseas.

Our £26m Nurtur House scheme in Sheffield will be the first development to be managed by the Nurtur Student Living when completed in 2020.

Mark Robinson, managing director of Fraser Morgan, said: “The quality of our offering in the student living arena is what sets us apart from our competitors.

“We focus on wellbeing and providing inspiring spaces where people can thrive, so the Nurtur name is a great standalone brand for our student developments.

“By managing our own student facilities, rather than outsourcing, we will ensure a greater degree of control and guarantee the service provided stays true to our brand values.

“Having their own unique brand will also make our student living developments instantly recognisable to investors and make it easier for us to communicate the benefits to them.”

Fraser Morgan aims to develop two student living sites a year and is actively targeting land opportunities in cities including Bath, Birmingham, Bristol, Coventry, Durham, Lancaster, Leeds, Loughborough, Leicester, Manchester, Nottingham, Reading and Warwick.

Our developments focus on providing spaces where students thrive, including inspiring communal areas, exercise and relaxation spaces, spacious accommodation and homely living spaces.

The 289-unit Nurtur House will be built in Allen Street, Sheffield, on a site currently occupied by former industrial buildings.

The development is in the St Vincent’s Quarter of the city centre within walking distance of University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University campuses.

Designed by David Cox Architects, it embraces the acute angles of the triangular-shaped site to feature an iconic curved façade on the corner of Allen Street and Shepherd Street.

Warden Construction has been appointed as main contractor on the development.
