We’re incredibly proud to announce that Canterbury Hall, our luxury student living development in Preston, has been shortlisted as a finalist in multiple categories at two of the property industry’s most prestigious awards events.

The £15m project, which includes 191 spacious apartments and features a cinema room, gymnasium, and roof terrace, was built by Warden Construction and designed by David Cox Architects.

It has been nominated for Best High-Volume Housing Development, Best Inclusive Building, Best Educational Building and Best Large Commercial Project at the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2019.

The development is also a finalist in the ‘Design Through Innovation’ category at the at the RICS Awards 2019.

Our managing director Mark Robinson comments: “We’re absolutely thrilled our Canterbury Hall development has been recognised in this way.

“This scheme was always about offering something different within the student accommodation sector in Preston – providing not just a place to live, but an inspiring environment that allows students to thrive.

“More than anything these nominations show the quality and craftsmanship that’s gone into creating this sustainable, high-performing building. It’s a credit to our construction partner, architect and wider professional team of consultants for delivering such an outstanding project.”
