The property boasts tennis court, free-form swimming pool and a wine cellar
Private equity boss Daren Metropoulos has snapped Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s iconic home in Los Angeles for an eye-watering $200m (£138m).
The mansion, which sits on five acres and boasts 29 rooms, was originally bought by Playboy Enterprises in 1971 for $1.05m.
“The heritage of this property transcends its celebrity and to have the opportunity to serve as its steward would be a true privilege,” Daren Metropoulos told The Wall Street Journal.
The property boasts features including a tennis court, free-form swimming pool, wine cellar, home theatre and games house but needs renovating to meet the same standards as other Beverly Hills homes.
